Bernard A. Hintzke graduated in 1971 with a B.B.A in Accounting. In 1974, he was admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent (EA).
Bernie is an Accredited Business Accountant (
ABA
, 1976), Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA, 1981); Elder Care Specialist (ECS, 2005); Certified Tax Practitioner (CTP, 1992), and, in 1995, achieved the status of “Fellow” in the National Tax Practice Institute.
Bernie advises individuals, small businesses and corporations in matters relating to tax advice, planning, preparation and compliance issues, and represents taxpayers before the Exam, Appeal and Collection divisions of the Internal Revenue Service and state tax agencies. He has helped resolve tax problems for thousands of taxpayers through Offers in Compromise, Installment Agreements, Penalty Abatements, Lien Subordination, Bank Levy Release, Wage Levy Release, and more.
