From 1980 until October 31, 2009, Bernard Hintzke was the President of Hintzke & Associates which was owned and operated by the same family.
When Hintzke & Associates was first formed in November of 1980, the firm was a general accounting practice and became known for its accounting as well as its tax expertise. However in the mid 90’s Hintzke discovered a niche where tax expertise was needed for individual taxpayers and businesses requiring specialized help in solving tax problems. It was determined that Bernie would obtain the necessary education and skills necessary to help taxpayers as well as other accounting and law firms who didn’t know how to deal with or were afraid to deal with the IRS and state tax agencies.
Looking towards the future, Bernie decided to create a specialized tax firm that has the expertise and experience to effectively help individual and business taxpayers with their tax planning, preparation and tax problem resolution needs. Therefore, on October 31, 2009 Hintzke & Associates ceased business; and on November 1, 2009 Hintzke Tax Group began.
